Each presentation will be included in the conference proceeding syllabus. The syllabus will be copied from the hard-copy prepared by you. Please use the following style indicated below to allow us to maintain uniformity in the final printed copy of the syllabus.
Content:
- The paper should reflect the podium presentation. The paper must be clearly written in English and the text should be substantive.
Instructions:
- The paper that you prepare will be copied and printed as it is received.
- Neatness is of paramount importance.
- Prepare two - three pages of text including a short list of references.
- Use dark BLACK ink. Do not use blue ink.
- Do not staple your pages together
- Please do not type in the page number on your paper.
Style:
- Times New Roman with a font size of 12 point should be used.
- 8.5 x 11 Paper: Paper margins: 1" on the left, 1" on the right, 1" on the top of each page and 1" on the bottom of each page.
- Papers should be single-spaced including title, authors names, affiliations and the description of the work performed. Double space between the title information, the text and between paragraphs.
- Please remember to spell check your entire paper.
- Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used.
Format:
- Paper title is to appear in CAPITAL LETTERS centered across the top.
- Authors' names and institutions appear below the title, also centered, in capital and lower case letters and a contact person with their address, email and phone information. Give all authors' names; do not use et. al.
- Each paragraph should start with an appropriate header in all capital letters and the research text should have the description of the work performed (e.g INTRODUCTION, CLINICAL RELEVANCE, DESCRIPTION OF METHOD/SYSTEMS, RESULTS, AND CONCLUSIONS)
- Send originals. Do not send poor photostats, photocopies, etc.
Electronic Version:
- Make sure your disk (1) has your name, speaker code, and paper title printed on the label.
- Style and Format: Refer to the Instructions for Paper in this Author's Kit regarding the style and format of your manuscript as it should be identical in format.
- Electronic File Requirements: Microsoft Word 6.0 or higher version.
- Media Requirements: Iomega Zip disks or CD ROM (floppy disks will not be accepted).
