The 2002 Maurice E. Müller Award Winner and CAOS-International Best Poster and Best Paper Award Winners will be announced at the Wild, Wild, West BBQ and Awards Ceremony Dinner Saturday, June 22, 2002 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (ticketed event, not included in registration fee) Join us out at the J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch for a western ho down! Once you exit from the bus, the town comes to life as the bar-b-que is cooking, cowboys and outlaws stroll the dirt streets as a honky tonk piano is playing with dance hall girls dancing in one of the saloons. J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch was built in 1969 for the Cheyenne Social Club with Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda and Shirley Jones. Since that time hundreds of major productions, documentaries and commercials have been filmed including western favorites like John Wayne's, "Chisum" and "The Cowboys", as well as "Desperado", "Silverado", "Wyatt Earp", and "Young Guns". Walk the same dusty streets as Johnny Cash, Clint Eastwood, Kevin Costner, Danny Glover, Willie Nelson, Gene Hackman, Emilio Estevez, and many more.
