Welcome to CAOS 2009
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 9th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Computer Assisted Surgery in Boston. In addition to orthopaedic surgical navigation and robotics, this year's meeting topics will also include pre-operative digital templating and planning, image analysis and processing, orthopaedic databases and documentation, intelligent instrumentation, and minimally invasive approaches. The scientific program will include presentations by some of the world's leading experts in these fields and will be complemented by industrial exhibitions of the most advanced technologies in imaging and navigation.
The meeting will take place at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in the center of the Back Bay region of Boston. This area is ideal for sight-seeing on foot and is only 5 miles from the airport. There are many hotels of different sizes and styles to choose from within 5 minutes of the Fairmont with Copley Place and the Prudential Center located adjacent to the hotel. We hope the come to enjoy the scientific program and the many social activities for you and your family.
