Visitors to Hong Kong must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months after the planned departure date from Hong Kong. Nationals of most countries are not required to obtain visas and can stay for periods varying from seven days to 180 days, depending on nationality. Check with any Chinese embassy or consulate for the latest status. For more information about Visa requirements, please refer to Visit Visa/Entry Permit.

Letter of Invitation

The Congress Secretariat will send you a letter of invitation upon request. The possibility of requesting such a letter is provided during the online registration procedure.
Please note: It should be understood that these letters are only to help participants to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa. They are not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support. Applications for letters of invitation must be received prior to April 30, 2008. Requests received after that date cannot be processed.
