Traveling to Heidelberg
Heidelberg is easily reachable thanks to its central location in south-western
Germany. You can get there by plane, train,
or car.
If you are traveling by airplane, it is highly recommended to fly into
Frankfurt/Main,
Germany's largest airport. Please note: Frankfurt's regional airport
(Frankfurt/Hahn)
is served by several European budget airlines. While it is only some 15 km
(10 mi.) farther from Heidelberg than Frankfurt/Main, transferring to
Heidelberg is much less convenient.
