Dear
CAOS Colleagues: I
am pleased to announce the "6th Annual Meeting of the International
Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery" (CAOS
International) to be held this summer from June 21 through the 24th in
Montréal, Québec. Canada. Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS) is one of the
fastest growing new technologies in our field. The emergence of CAOS as an
important technology in orthopaedics is being further stimulated by the
vigorous introduction of a number of minimally invasive surgical (MIS)
procedures, many of which can be facilitated by various CAOS techniques. The
CAOS International's meeting in Chicago, Illinois USA in 2004 and the 2005
meeting in Helsinki, Finland had attendance well over 400 participants,
thereby reflecting the rapidly growing interest in this field.
It is our intention to make this year's exhibition the most
successful CAOS meeting thus far by continuing the successful format and
ensuring the quality of the information presented.
We will pursue an interactive format comprised of didactic sessions
followed by hands-on workshop demonstrations which will provide
comprehensive understanding of the latest state-of-the-art computer
assisted techniques and clinical systems. We
have many venues (exhibition, sponsoring, workshops, etc.) for you and
your company to be involved with at this Conference; I know this will
provide an excellent opportunity for your company to showcase its
innovative resources. The
surgeons and administrators that will be in attendance will be the
"decision-makers" seeking technological enhancements for their
hospitals and practices. Please click below to obtain a copy of the contract that
outlines all the opportunities available for your involvement. If
you have any questions regarding the organization or content of the
program, please contact Katharine Cline, Conference Manager, at
1-619.232.9499, or via email at caos2006@caos-international.org We
look forward to seeing you in Montréal! With best wishes,
