CAOS Student Scholarships

The purpose of the scholarships is to enable students and residents with accepted papers to CAOS to attend the conference. The objective is to make attendance easier and to promote the participation of students and residents who would notherwise not be able to attend the meeting. Selection criteria include geographical location, financial reasons, scientific excellence, and innovation.

* Students and residents must request in advance the scholarship, justifying why they need it.

* There will be 4-6 scholarships per year, depending on the budget.

* The scholarship covers up to EU 1,000 towards air travel in economy class, local hotel stay (3 stars or equivalent category), and CAOS registration. Based on the receipts and on geographical situation.

* Scholarship includes student membership for one year to CAOS-International

* A committee of CAOS Program Committee and Board members will review requests and make a decision.

Deadline for application: April 20, 2010.
Information of applicants by: May 15, 2010

Please send the following for our files in PDF format:
1. Your short resume
2. The accepted CAOS 2010 abstract
3. A cover letter stating your need, and a travel budget
4. Proof of student/resident status
