A large variety of attractions in the Orlando area create a welcome opportunity for attendees to extend their stay. The June meeting dates are some of the most desirable times to visit Disney World, Epcot, Sea World, Universal Studios, Disney Hollywood, Animal Kingdom, MGM, over 20 water parks, multiple golf courses, and other attraction sites for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

The Hilton Hotel and Conference Center are ideally located across the street from Downtown Disney and the Disney Transportation System offers free transortation to all Disney attractions.

After hour activites range from dinner shows to interactive venues. The variety of attractions creates a welcome opportunity to include families and extend your stay at a very popular destination.

Orlando International Airport is the main airport serving Orlando and central Florida. Thirty five (35) airlines service Orlando International Airport with non-stop flights routinely available and is currently recognized as having the lowest average airfares of any US major airport.

Airport Transportation

Shuttles and taxis are available at the Orlando Airport for transfer to the Hilton hotel. The airport is approx. 30 minutes from the Hilton hotel. Average taxi fare from airport to hotel is $52.00 each way. A return taxi can be arranged by requesting one through the hotel/congress center concierges.


All attendees and accompanying persons will receive a name badge on site. The name badge is your ticket for booked activities and sessions. Admission to the Congress will not be permitted without badge identification.

Bank Services

Banking Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

All banks are closed on Sunday and Public holidays. There are plenty of currency exchange offices and banks at which to change your money into US Dollars.

Certificate of Attendance

All registered attendees, whether the register in advance or on site, will receive a certiciate of attendance onsite or by e-mail within 4 weeks after the Congress. Please be aware that the use of a personal e-mail address for registration is mandatory for the issue of the certificates.


The average temperature in June is approx. 83°F (28°C) and you can expect some humidity. Scattered showers in afternoon can be common for this time of year.

Conference Language

English is the official language of the meeting. There will be no simultaneous translation.

Currency & Credit cards

The currency in the United States is the US Dollar.

Commonly accepted credit cards in hotels, restaurants and shops are Visa and MasterCard and American Express. Restaurants and shops generally display signs indicating what cards they accept.

Disable Persons

The Congress centre is easily accessible to disabled persons. Kindly address any request for special assistance to the congress organizer, Marcia Thornberry - mdthornberry@aol.com.


The standard electrical voltage in the US is 120 volts AC, 60 HZ, so you will need an adaptor for your appliances and electrical equipment.


The organizers are not responsible for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants and accompanying persons should arrange their own cover.

Internet Connections

Workstations with an Internet connection will be available during the Congress opening hours. Participants are kindly requested to limit Internet usage to five minutes to allow as many participants as possible to use this service.

Letter of Invitation

Those persons needing an official invitation letter in order to attend the Congress may send an e-mail to the CAOS meeting organizer, Marcia Thornberry at mdthornberry@aol.com specifying the necessary details. This service is designed only to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend to conference. It should not be considered as an official invitation covering fees or other expenses.

Liability Disclaimer

The organizers cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of Congress proceedings arising from political, social or economic events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control. The organizers will accept no liability for any personal injuries sustained or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants, either during or as a result of the Congress or during all tours and events. By registering, participants agree to be bound by these conditions.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are strictly prohibited during all scientific sessions.

Non-smoking policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited during all meetings and sessions and in exhibition halls at all times. Only smoking in designated areas will be allowed. The local regulations state no smoking in public enclosed areas.

Passport & Visa Requirements

Foreigners traveling to the United States will need a passport and, for some countries, a visa to enter the United States. CAOS will send invitation letters for visa purposes to registered participants only. To request an official letter of invitation for your visa application, be sure to have the following details information ready when processing your request: your full name as it appears on the passport and your passport number.

CAOS will not be able to contact or intervene with any United States Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf. Please start the visa application process as early as possible.
