General Information for Authors
The scientific program has been finalized and can be accessed as a pdf
document. If you are going to present a talk, special poster, or poster at the meeting, please read the
following sections carefully because they contain important information related to the presentation of your
work.
Podium Presentations
- Each author is required to hand in his/her presentation at least 3 hours prior to the start of the
session, in which the talk will be given.
- Bring you presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) on CD-ROM or USB memory stick and hand it in at the slide
preview station. If you are using video clips as part of your presentation make sure to also store the
corresponding files. PowerPoint does not include video clips into the presentation file!
- All presentations will then be started from a central PC. You will not be able to use you own laptop.
After the conference, all presentations will be deleted.
- Presentation time will be 7 minutes followed by 3 minutes for questions and answers. All
chairmen have been instructed to strictly enforce this schedule. They will interrupt your presentation
once you exceed the allocated time.
- From all talks of the meeting, the Best Clinical Podium Presentation and the Best Technical Podium
Presentation will be selected and awarded a prize during the closing awards ceremony.
Special Poster and Poster Presentations
- Special Posters and Posters will be presented in two sessions. However, there will be a sufficient
number of poster booths, and every author of a Special Poster or Poster is strongly encouraged to have
his/her poster on display during the entire time of the meeting.
- Special Posters will be specifically marked and presented at privileged locations within the poster
exhibition.
- At least one of each poster’s authors is required to be present at the poster booth during the assigned
poster session (see Final Program).
- Each poster wall will be 150cm high and 95cm wide and will have a felt-like surface. Please make sure
to bring fixation pins with you.

Technical Poster Presentation will be selected and awarded a prize during the closing awards ceremony.
